Farm Life
The Samerhof is located at 1,450 meters above sea level and combines tradition with sustainability. In 2010, it was lovingly rebuilt using our own wood in typical South Tyrolean architecture. Since Simon and his family, along with the farm animals, spend the summer at the Wieserhütte, they’re always happy to welcome guests up on the alpine pasture. Otherwise, guests will always find someone to talk to at the Wieserhof, just 200 meters away.

Shared kitchen & lounge
Cooking becomes a social experience in our spacious communal kitchen. Here you can prepare regional ingredients together, exchange stories, and round off the evening in a cozy atmosphere. The modern furnishings combine comfort with a homely flair – perfect for unforgettable moments at the Samerhof.
Breakfast
Our guests can reach the Wieserhof in just a 5-minute walk, where they can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with many homemade farm products, available for an additional fee upon request.
Almencard
Our guests receive the digital Almencard free of charge by email. This allows you to use the Gitschberg-Nesselbahn mountain railway in Meransen and the Jochtalbahn in Vals free of charge during certain periods in summer and fall. With the Almencard and Mobilcard, you also have unlimited free travel on public transport in South Tyrol, such as buses, regional trains, and selected cable cars.

Hiking
Samerhof is the perfect starting point for hiking and biking tours in the South Tyrolean mountain landscape.
Wieserhütte
Our hut is about a 2-hour walk through the idyllic Altfasstal valley, where Simon and Petra are looking forward to welcoming you.
Ski Area
The slopes of the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area are just a few minutes’ walk away and offer 44 kilometers of varied slopes for all levels. Start directly from Wieserhof with your skis or conveniently take the ski bus.
Mühlbach
Mühlbach is known for its fashionable shops in charming alleys and invites you to relax in cozy cafés with a cappuccino or aperitif.
Brixen
Brixen – the oldest city in Tyrol – impresses with its historical backdrop, vibrant culture, and charming shopping streets.
Bruneck
Bruneck is just a 40-minute drive away and offers a great shopping experience in the heart of its charming old town.

We offer a variety of stunning biking opportunities – or you can visit us with your bike directly at the Wieserhütte – we would be happy to welcome you!
Who we are
We, Simon and Petra, are passionate hut hosts – in the summer at the Wieserhütte, and in the winter at the Samerhof. Together with our children, Philipp and Florian, we live true mountain traditions.
Wieser hof
An adventure paradise for children. A retreat for adults. In winter, right next to the slopes of the Gitschberg Jochtal ski resort. In summer, many hiking trails start from the farm and lead into the alpine pasture area. Perfect for your family vacation!
WIESER HÜTTE
Our hut in the Altfasstal valley invites you to linger with its sun terrace, rustic lounge, and mountain views. Look forward to alpine cheese and buttermilk from our own production. Enjoy authentic South Tyrolean hut culture—perfect for resting and enjoying yourself.

Prices
The prices quoted are per night and apartment for 2 people.
During high season
Minimum stay of 7 nights, price calculated for at least 4 people.
During off-season
Shorter stays are also possible, price calculation for 2 people.
Each additional person (10 years and older): from 30 € / night
Plus the legally required local tax of 2.10 € per person per day (from 14 years old)
Payment Methods
Our guests can pay comfortably in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
Deposit
A deposit of 200.00 € is required to confirm the booking.

Cancellation Policy
We look forward to your stay! If you need to cancel:
Up to 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be credited for 1 year, but will not be refunded. For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival, we will charge 80% of the travel price. The same applies to late arrivals, early departures, and no-shows.

Common Room
Need more space? We offer our guests the option to book a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a cozy lounge on the ground floor – the perfect place to enjoy quality time together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Transfer, Transportation, and Parking
Upon request, we are happy to pick up our guests at the Mühlbach train station and take them back on departure.
A covered parking space is available free of charge.
Breakfast
Guests can enjoy the varied breakfast buffet at Wieserhof for an additional charge.
Internet and TV
Our guests have free access to Wi-Fi and a smart TV in the apartments.
Dogs
For your four-legged family member, we charge 15 € per day (without food).
Please bring your pet’s bed or blanket.
Guest Card and Alpinpool
In summer, our guests receive the Almencard, which offers numerous discounts and experiences in the region. Guests also receive reduced entry prices at the Alpinpool Meransen during opening hours.
Garden / Sunbathing Area
Our guests have direct access to the lovingly maintained garden with a cozy sunbathing area – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.
